With nearly 200 weddings under my belt it’s not often I come across something I’ve not seen before, but Louise and Ash executed a reception idea that was totally new and super awesome. Fairy lights overhead are pretty commonplace, and rightly so, they look freakin’ awesome and really make the photos sing, but the twist to this was a string of personal LED lights for every guest (photographer included) to wear as a necklace, an armband, a crown or to wrap around your big lens. The LED theme didn’t end there. There was a big “Mr + Mrs” constructed of LEDs on the dance floor, it remained unlit until halfway through the first dance when it lit up and the crowd exploded.
Lighting aside this was an absolutely gorgeous day, I photographed Ash’s sister Liv’s wedding a couple of years ago and she was a bridesmaid here so I was starting with some familiar faces. One of those familiar faces was Ash’s Nan who I vividly recall from Liv’s wedding, she’s the greatest dancing-Nan in the history of dancing Nan’s and there was definitely no dancefloor disappointment this time round.

Current Day.
As is the case with all Barossa weddings the day was totally relaxed, no traffic issues, plenty of parking, loads of space for photos and spectacular scenery in every direction. It I could get married to country weddings then I would.
