Any business book will tell you that to stand out from the crowd you need to be doing something different. Zig when everyone else zags. To that end, when the rest of the world was busy putting together their summary of 2014 at the appropriate time (ie the last few days of the year) I made a strategic business decision to kick back with a few beers instead.
When I returned to work a week later I had a bunch of other stuff to take care of, then I headed to the Riverland for a few days to cover an epic wedding, and now, well, we’re almost 3 weeks into the new year and the time has come for my 2014 retrospective.
Last year’s slideshow went for 2 minutes, this year I wanted to include a few more images so it goes for 50% longer (50% extra for FREE!). It’s a big ask in 2015 to get people to commit 3 minutes to watch your slideshow but if you’ve read this far then I think you’re up for the challenge.
