Beach Road Wines is one of the truly magical wedding venues in McLaren Vale. From the wonderfully attentive staff to the incredible food (roaming pizzas anyone?), delicious wines and incredible views down into the valley, it’s such a spectacular place to get married.
I’ve actually known Lauren for ages, she was the wedding coordinator at Mt Lofty House for years so it was an absolute honour when she asked if I’d be her wedding photographer. The other vendors on board for the wedding were all good friends through the industry, and it was such a beautiful way to spend a day documenting Lauren and Laine’s love story while also catching up with a lot of old faces. Fun side note, this was wedding 1000 for celebrant Amy Harrison, an incredible achievement, and so fitting that it was Lauren, a bride she’s also known for years.
Lauren and Laine had such a beautiful connection; it was clear how well they complemented each other. I loved hearing through the speeches how they had enriched one another’s lives and it was heartwarming to discover that beneath Laine’s wonderful beard and tats, he’s actually a big teddy bear.
