Lily-Mae and Caleb’s Mount Lofty Botanic Garden wedding was the perfect mix of classic and fun, with plenty of pink and white woven throughout the day. One of the moments Lily was most looking forward to was seeing Caleb’s reaction to her dress for the first time, along with finally sharing their vows together.
Caleb and Lily-Mae first met in September 2022, when Lily’s friend Jacinta asked Caleb to pick them up and drive them into town. They couldn’t keep their eyes off each other. On the ride home, a tipsy Lily claimed the front seat and sang Caleb ‘Call Me Maybe’ and they clicked instantly. Before they knew it, they were spending everyday with one another.
Caleb proposed to Lily in November 2024 at their secret spot on Granite Island, secluded and right near the ocean. He told Lily to pose for a photo looking out to the ocean. When Lily turned around, Caleb was down on one knee.
Their advice is one that never gets old. Try not to stress about the small stuff. It is very easy to get caught up in the details, but at the end of the day, it is all about the two of you and the people you have around you.
