As guests arrived at Andie and Gordon’s Kingsford The Barossa wedding they were met with a Masserati and a McLaren as they approached the building. As they went further there was an array of other cars that were important to the couple. Just in case anyone didn’t already know, Andie and Gordon are car people.
The tables at the reception each named after a different race track, and guests had to find their name attached to a matchbox car with the name of the table/track in order to find their seats.
We managed to duck out during the reception for a quick spin in Kingsford ATV which took us past the local roos and up to a spectacular hill to take in the sunset, a perfect little break for Andie and Gordon to take five and spend some time together before returning to the chaos of the reception and the impending dancefloor.
“We have spent hours already going over the photos reliving the day and we could not be more impressed with your photos – you’re a freaking magician!!”

Q & A
Tell me about your The Beginning!
Despite working in the same industry and having many shared hobbies, it actually took us meeting online to find each other! Our first date was at Glenelg, and it was hard to keep us apart ever since.
When and where did you get engaged?
We were about to leave on an overseas holiday to Europe for 7 weeks, in June 2023, and as we were saying goodbye to our families at the airport my 5 year old niece Luna was showing me a picture that she had drawn, on it was a drawing of Gordon and I with a flap I had to lift up and when I lifted the flap up it said ‘turn around’, and when I did – Gordon was on one knee asking me to marry him… It was the easiest yes of my life!
What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day?
We wanted to create a fun garden party vibe, with modern and chic decor. The colour scheme is black, white, and sage green.
What are you most looking forward to on the day?
In addition to seeing each other at the end of the aisle, the moment after the ceremony is complete and we can spend a few minutes together taking in all of the excitement of what has just happened! We also can’t wait to celebrate the night away with all of our family and friends.
Top Tips!
Remember what the day is all about and stay focused on this. It is very easy to get distracted by all of the noise during the planning phase but if you have a vision and plan, just stick to it. We definitely appreciated staying organised by utilising a wedding planning template and budget tracker – to do lists were our friends!
