When Ali and Peter sent me their list of suppliers for their Glen Ewin Estate wedding I knew it would be a good one. I was not wrong.
Let’s start with the dress. Couture+Love+Madness is an incredible homegrown success story, Cristina and her team have been crafting incredibly unique and personal dresses since 2011 and this one was no different. Added bonus, Cristina herself was on hand while Ali and the girls got into their dresses to ensure everything ran smoothly, talk about service! Some of my favourite dresses in recent years have come out of their Norwood studio, like this one, this one and this one.
Next up, Glen Ewin Estate Pulpshed, just a magical space for a wedding, especially so when there are a bunch of kids looking to burn off some energy running around the expansive lawns. The BOM was telling us to expect between 3mm and 20mm(!) of rain, fortunately, it was closer to 3 and we managed to pull off an outdoor ceremony.
Lastly, we had Ryley from Tennyson Events on the decks creating the most incredible dance floor vibes. No standard playlists here, each wedding comes with a masterful, curated collection of bangers custom-made to bring the best out of the punters of the dancefloor.

Tell me about your The Beginning!
We met as graduates at BAE in 2007, Peter remembers, Ali does not! We crossed paths again almost 10 years later at KPMG
First date – we had dinner/drinks at Croydon Social near Peter’s house, we then went to the city to see friends in a fringe show followed by drinks at Bank St Social.
When and where did you get engaged?
At home, Peter and Aria set the back yard up with champagne, flowers, chocolates, fairy lights to surprise Ali.
What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day?
We don’t really have a theme, romantic/rustic garden vibe.
What are you most looking forward to on the day?
Celebrating our special day with our closest friends and family.
