When your front yard consists of a deck overlooking the majestic waters of Hallett Cove there is absolutely no reason at all to get married anywhere else. I had the absolute pleasure of photographing this micro-wedding in what is perhaps the world’s first Vegas-themed front yard elopement!
I’ve been in this game for many years now, and never have I seen a dress and suit combo like this – the incredible dress was from Couture Love Madness and the suit was custom-made by Beg Your Pardon.
Getting to spend a few hours pre-ceremony with this beautiful family while they build a wedding cake topper out of lego, practised their dance routines and went on an adventure to the beach in their fancy duds was incredibly special, and the love they have for one another was evident. The ceremony, just after sunset, was also incredibly unique. In all, it was an unforgettable day, thanks so much for having me along for the ride!
Tell me about your The Beginning!
We met on tinder 🤣 our first date was minigolf at holey moley, we then went for dinner. This is now our tradition on our anniversary, and the loser has to pay for dinner!
When and where did you get engaged?
I proposed just before Xmas when we were away for a family getaway at Port Vincent on York peninsula.
What style/theme have you chosen for your Wedding Day?
Our initial wedding plans have changed many times for a bunch of reasons, it was going to be quite over the top Vegas style wedding. As we are having no guests we’ve cut all that back, except for our clothes, I think we’re both going to look incredible
What are you most looking forward to on the day?
Finally being able to say I do after all the postponements!
