If someone asked me the absolute worst time to take photos, my answer would be something along the lines of “middle of the day, summer, full sun”, so when Cam and Chantelle told me of their plans for their Anvers wedding in the middle of the day, in summer, I felt mildly nervous. Fortunately Anvers Wines is just about the most magical venue imaginable for these conditions, and despite the 37 degree heat everyone was somehow looking soft and dreamy in all the photos!
Huge gum trees on the gently sloping lawns provide plenty of shade, and the air conditioning inside is something to behold. And don’t get me started on the incredible dirt road leading to the venue, there’s a nice little straight stretch that gives just enough time to scamper away from any utes that might be flying down the road.
This was one of those magical days, where the sound track is just right, there’s the perfect blend of people young and old, and the laid back lunch time vibes are immaculate. Chantelle and Cam, who would have thought your search for a gig buddy would have lead to this!! Thank you so much of having me on board for the ride.
