From across the world to Bridgewater Mill
It was a truly global affair on Saturday in the Adelaide Hills for this Bridgewater Mill wedding, with guests travelling from all over the place to celebrate the wedding of Frances and Paul. Frances’s family came over from the UK, and much of Paul’s family and friends made their way over from the Eastern states (his dad took his first ever flight!).
In the end, it turned out that only about 20% of the guests were from Adelaide!
There was an extra dose of cuteness at this wedding with plenty of kids in attendance, nieces, nephews, and Frances and Paul’s own adorable little man, although I didn’t envy the parents flying back to the UK the following day with young kids who were already tired!!
Frances’s dress was from the always amazing Couture+Love+Madness. Christine is the magician who makes these dresses happen, and she even popped in while the dress was going on to lend a hand with the veil. She creates the most spectacular and (sometimes) unconventional gowns you can possibly imagine, my heart always races a little faster when I discover one of my brides is wearing one of her dresses!
Frances and Paul, thank you so much for having me along for the ride, it was an absolute joy to spend the day with you and your crew, and as I’ve been going through your photos I’m struck by how much joy is radiating from you in every photo, I can’t wait to show you the entire collection!
