It’s frightening where things end up once you put them out there on the World Wide Web.
Keen followers of my blog will surely remember this particularly amazing entry in April last year. Long story short I didn’t have much to do over Easter so I put my effort into completing a particularly excellent paint by numbers knight on a horseback. To make it interesting (as if paint by numbers needed anything to make it more interesting) I decided to take intermittent photos of my handiwork and put them together in a little video which I later uploaded to YouTube, largely as a joke.
Anyway, yesterday I got this incredible email from a friend who’s studying to be a teacher in New Zealand.
So something really random happened today. I was in class (at Teachers College) and our lecturer was going on about paint by numbers (relating it to writing our teaching philosophy kinda) and he showed us this YouTube clip and what should it be? You and ‘what you did at Easter 09’ doing a paint by numbers. How blimen random is that!!!
I think I can safely add “University Lecturer” and “International Filmmaker” to my already impressive and ever-expanding CV.
The Internet is excellent.
